The Walk a Mile in Her Shoes- march follows the old saying “you can’t really understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes,” by asking men to literally walk one mile in women’s high-heels.
While walking in these shoes is not easy, this event provides a fun and open atmosphere to engage the community in discussing the difficult issues surrounding sexual violence. Women and children are welcome to march as well!
